Jennifer began her legal career in Oklahoma as a legal assistant at Newton, O’Connor, Turner & Ketchum in October of 1996. While there, she developed her love for adoption law, leading her to attend the University of Tulsa Law College in 2000. She graduated with her Juris Doctor and Lawyering Skills Certification in December 2002, receiving multiple academic awards along the way. She continued at NOTK until April 2018, when she left as a Senior Associate, opening her own office.
Jennifer has had a variety of accomplishments throughout her career. While in law school she helped pilot a free afterschool program for elementary school students in Claremore. Later, she served on Oklahoma’s Adoption Review Task Force from 2008-2009 and as legislative liaison for the Oklahoma Adoption Coalition. Her volunteer work has included working with Tulsa Lawyers for Children, Grandparents Raising Children, Compassion Women’s Center, and the Cedar Point Church Superkids program. In 2007 she coauthored “An Oklahoma Child’s Bill of Rights in Adoption,” vocalizing her tireless support for the children of this state.
